Daniel knew what he wanted. He had seen a three stone diamond ring somewhere, it was a vintage or antique model and together with his brother he set out to find it. With no succes… the quality of the diamonds, the price, the make, there was always something not quite right.

This is where I can help. Daniël showed me photos of rings he had been considering. From that first meeting, things went quite fast. Next time we met we were comparing diamond sets - different size pear cuts and different size center stones. With a three stone ring the proportions of the shapes are key.

We decided on a classic design, with no frills to take the shine away from the stunning white diamonds we had picked. A yellow gold (18K) band, with the diamonds (color: F) set in 18K white gold. The ring was handmade with love and voilà, it arrived just in time for the trip for which the proposal was all thought out.

Not much later I received a text from NYC: it was a hot day and after an extensive nice lunch, Daniel had insisted they go to the park. His girlfriend with her pregant belly found it a bit much, but she came along. And then…. the small ring and the big question were popped and of course, she said: yes.
